SyFy? Really?

Apparently, the SciFi channel is planning on cutting all ties to "Science Fiction" with its name change to "SyFy". Some marketing gurus decided that they would appeal to more people by ditching any association with loser nerds who like science fiction. Um... okay. So I guess they'll transition to all paranormal, psuedoscience, and horror and get away from some of the really good shows they've cancelled. Maybe somebody else can fill the niche for a channel that shows science fiction...
