Abortion as moral imperative?

While some of us are struggling with the morality of abortion and the concept of when life begins and what that means, some people have moved past all that are now arguing that NOT having an abortion is immoral. This is in the UK, but how long until environmentalists in the US make the same argument? I've already heard the argument that not aborting a baby with Down's Syndrome is immoral.
